It’s so nice of you to stop by here.
I’m Tanvi, a teenager ostensibly living in Singapore but mostly resident in confusion. I graduated high school in June 2018 and am currently on a gap year before I begin university. The primary reason for taking the gap year was why not. There are more, of course, and I talk about some of them in my series on this year, published on a very rough weekly basis with a highly flexible definition of “week”.
I like birds, whales, mountains, good books, and the dizzying feeling of standing in a world too vast to understand. The reasons for why I got here last a little longer but come down to some really good teachers, a butterfly guide, and a tendency for any passing interest to spill over into obsession.
I also like rambling—verbally and physically—and most of my posts end up reflecting that. This blog is primarily an exercise in reflection, documentation, and development. If you don’t like it, if you like it, if you find a spelling error, if you have a question about gap years or travel or anything, please comment or contact me. If you like my photography, do check out previous work on my other blog (no longer updated), Saving MacRitchie.
